TEVTA-PAF to enhance technical education and vocational training system
Lahore—Deputy Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Farooq Habib has said that collaboration of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will enhance the quality of Technical Education and Vocational Training system across the province of the Punjab. Contribution of TEVTA to train unemployed youth is highly commendable.
Transfer of administrative control of Govt. Staff Training College Murree to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will provide valuable training to TEVTA Teachers. He was addressing the participants of MoU between TEVTA and PAF here yesterday (Wednesday) at TEVTA Secretariat. This MoU was signed by Deputy Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Farooq Habib and Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh.
Chief Operating Officer TEVTA Jawad Ahmed Qureshi, Akhtar Abbas Bharwana, Aamir Aziz, Mustafa Kamal Pasha, Assistant Chief of Air Staff Air Comd. Fahim Kiyani, Director Filed Training Grp Capt Tariq Shamas and other officers of both departments were also present.
Deputy Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Farooq Habib Pakistan Air Force further said that PAF had recently trained 500 recently newly inducted TEVTA Teachers and Principals to enhance their professional capabilities. This training will improve their capacity building and impart quality training which was held at Govt. Staff Training College Gulberg Lahore and Murree.
